Koala Envirosciences is a Central Queensland based koala and terrestrial fauna ecology consultancy with over 10 years koala specialist experience. Koala Envirosciences is a koala ecology and fauna field survey specialist with intimate knowledge of the koalas and their habitat in the Central Queensland region. Our founder has extensive experience investigated koalas in this region and developed and tested the Koala Nose Pattern Identification Technique (KNPIT), a method of identifying individual koalas, while completing her Bachelor of Science (Honours), First Class. We have completed extensive monitoring of the koalas in the Mackay/Isaac Region, in particular around Nebo and along the Peak Downs Highway and maintain an extensive database of such. Koala Envirosciences applies a well informed, professional and pragmatic approach to koala surveys, monitoring, photography and individual identification, research, management, education and general consulting. Koala Envirosciences collaborate with a wide network of specialists allowing delivery of the highest quality solutions and have built a reputation based on extensive local knowledge and a thorough and considered approach. We operate the latest in thermal drone technology for fauna surveys and hold RePL and ReOC along with current Scientific Use Registration Certificate, Research Permit (Scientific) and Animal Ethics Committee approval.
