Koala Envirosciences is a Central Queensland based koala and terrestrial fauna ecology consultancy founded by principal consultant, Charley Geddes. Charley has over 10 years experience in koala ecology and is a fauna field survey specialist with intimate knowledge of the koalas and their habitat in the Central Queensland region. She investigated koalas in this region and developed and tested the Koala Nose Pattern Identification Technique (KNPIT), a method of identifying individual koalas, while completing her Bachelor of Science (Honours), First Class. Charley has completed extensive monitoring of the koalas in the Mackay/Isaac Region, in particular around Nebo and along the Peak Downs Highway and maintains an extensive database of such. Koala Envirosciences applies a well informed, professional and pragmatic approach to koala surveys, monitoring, photography and individual identification, research, management, education and general consulting.
